Just a quick update this week to apologise for the radio silence the last couple of weeks. We had a little holiday and some summer flu in the house that threw me off my schedule!
My only update for this week is I’ve some bigger updates and news scheduled for next week, when I hope to get back to my planned regular Tuesday posts!
Until then, take care!
I make this comment with the utmost respect. I’ve read and listened to Society of the Sword 3 or 4 times. I’ve listened to Wolf of the North twice and Dragonslayer 2 or 3 times. However, I feel like the last trilogy missed the mark due to a loss of focus around a main character. Your other trilogies focused on the protagonist, whereas this last trilogy was more of a compendium of characters. I don’t know how well your trilogies sold, i.e., which of the trilogies were the most popular. If the latest one was very popular, then you can disregard my constructive criticism. If it did not receive as much popularity as your prior works, then I would suggest that this may be the reason. As a reader, I want to get behind a character and root for that protagonist; I was unable to do this in your last trilogy (in fairness, I never finished the third one because I could not remember what had happened in the first two books). I’m present on my 3rd or 4th time of the Society of the Sword. Thanks for all the enjoyment.

p.s.. I assume you know that your fans would love to see Gui and Soren together with Wulfric at some point.
